Poolside in Provence: Relaxing at the Gorgeous Infinity Pool at Terre Blanche

The magnificent pool at Terre Blanche -- incredible Provence setting!

Where would I like to be right now? Submerged in the infinity pool at Terre Blanche, looking at the incomparable views of Provence. Truly, there are few things better in life than being in a beautiful pool in beautiful surroundings with beautiful landscaping. Over my two-night stay at Terre Blanche, a five-star luxury resort in Tourrettes, France, I really maximized my pool time. I’m efficient like that.

Of course, my pool time had tough competition. There was also the spa, the restaurants and my spacious suite (which was situated in a little villa). And there was the gorgeous kiddie pool, which is where my son preferred that I stay. But I got him to come with me to the big pool fairly often. There was a lot of running back and forth, as I’m sure you can imagine.

These foot pools were a brilliant -- and beautiful -- way to keep the Terre Blanche pool clean.

Speaking of running back and forth, Terre Blanche keeps its pools clean in the most lovely and brilliant way. There were foot pools that you had to walk through to get into the pool area. So you couldn’t even walk with your shoes into the area, which further kept it clean. I had never seen anything like that, but it was a brilliant design. Plus it kept your feet cool if you were going from the bar or poolside restaurant to your lounge  chair.

There’s something about a being in a fabulous hotel pool that just makes it a vacation, that gives you that euphoric feeling that you wish you could bottle and that you just can’t capture after you leave. So you just have to go back…

Comped but Never Compromised: I received a complimentary stay at Terre Blanche but I am free to write whatever I want.
