Amazing luxury for the traveling baby! Suite Dreams Nursery at Grosvenor House, a JW Marriott Hotel in London

We have lugged our BabyBjorn Travel Crib Light everywhere: Newport, Long Beach Island, Sintra,  Lisbon, Seville, Stockholm and Copenhagen. We do this despite being reassured that many of the hotels and rental apartments where we’ve stayed could supply a crib for my son — usually even for free. But could I trust those cribs to be comfortable and 100% germ-free? No, of course not! Well, I just learned about a place where I (and probably any mom suffering from First Time Mom Syndrome) would let my son use the crib: Suite Dreams Nursery at Grosvenor House, A JW Marriott Hotel, in London. The crib, which took Dragons of Walton Street took five days to create, would definitely be good enough for my son. The whole suite is pure luxury!

This transformed Premium Park View Suite contains a total of $40,000 worth of bespoke nursery furniture from Dragons of Walton Street, a high-end children’s furniture company that designed the furniture for Princes Willian and Harry. Speaking of which, perhaps William and Kate will stay there during one of their London jaunts after the royal baby arrives… At £2,230 a night, they’re a lot more likely to book it than I am.

Whoever books it will enjoy the convenience of ordering from the Suite Dreams Organic Baby Menu, which includes pureed seasonal melon with English raspberries and free-range chicken with sweet-potato-and-apricot puree. Figuring out what the baby (or toddler) will eat can be one of the biggest stresses of traveling. Eating and sleeping are taken care of with this luxurious suite, as is transportation. Oh yes, the suite comes with the iconic Balmoral Silver Cross Pram, the Rolls Royce of strollers. What, you thought the baby that stayed here was going to ride in a utilitarian Maclaren?
