I’ve been to Mallorca but I didn’t make it to Sa Coma. When I get there one day, I’ll be sure to follow the packing list from this guest post.
Although Sa Coma isn’t quite as popular as the neighbouring resort of Cala Millor it still attracts a fair number of travellers. Some choose to while away the hours on the sun-kissed beach, while others explore the fascinating historical sites. Whatever you are planning on doing during Directline-holidays in Sa Coma, it is worth packing the following items.
Sun Tan Lotion
Temperatures regularly exceed 30 degrees centigrade in Sa Coma. So if you want to avoid sun burn during days out in this pretty Majorcan town then it’s best to pack some high factor sun tan lotion. You may also like to take some headache tablets, just in case the increased sunlight exposure has a negative effect.
Bucket and Spade
Those of you travelling to Sa Coma in the company of children should invest in a plastic bucket and spade. There’ll be plenty of time for digging sandcastles and burying people’s toes on the resort’s very own blue flag beach!
Swimming Costume
Even if you aren’t keen on the idea of lazing about on the white sands there are still plenty of watersports to be enjoyed in the waters of Sa Coma. So you’d better come prepared with your favourite bikini set or pair of swimming shorts.
Walking Boots
At some point during your holidays in Sa Coma it is worth making the trek across to the Punta de n’Amer nature reserve. You might be lucky enough to see marine birds such as the Bittern or Marsh Harrier and perhaps even Salamanders making their way across the well trodden path. There may even be time during the action packed day for a Mediterranean picnic.
Camera
You’re bound to want to take pictures of the friends that you make and historical sites that you visit in Sa Coma. For the best results you may want to take a travel camera such as the compact Canon Powershot or stylish Panasonic Lumix.
