Grounds for Sculpture is the kind of the place where you just can’t stop taking pictures, especially if you visit this modern art mecca on a gorgeous spring day when it’s in full bloom, as we did. With 270 works of art on 42 sprawling acres, this gated open-air museum is as tucked away as something of this magnitude could be. It’s located on the former New Jersey State Fairgrounds in Hamilton, NJ, in a decidedly rough part of town. Indeed, it’s a hidden gem, as well as two other travel writing cliches: a must for modern art lovers and fun for the whole family.

Some excellent pieces here; hard to pick a favorite. The grounds look lovely for walking around, too.
