All travel buffs are secretly jealous of Santa Claus. Who wouldn’t to travel around the globe in a single night, in a flying sleigh led by nine reindeer. The speed! The comfort! And no baggage restrictions! Plus, he gets to see all of the world’s best Christmas decorations. With Rudolph leading the way, here’s a preview of the Christmas lights Santa will be seeing in Barcelona, Rio de Janeiro, Hong Kong, Victoria, Manchester, Washington, Budapest, New York and Paris.

Certainly can’t argue with NYC and Paris! I haven’t been to the other cities — they look great in their Christmas lights. P.S. Chicago does a nice job, too!
They’re all great, but I’m really floored by the Hong Kong tree. I do tend to be of the “more lights the better” persuasion though.

I love seeing different cities light up — although I so rarely travel to new places this time of year, as I go home to my family. Great post!

Love that people are posting photos of Christmas lights around the world because there are none here in Patagonia.
