Deal: Book 7 Days at Ka’ana in Belize Now, Stay 7 More Free 2012

Ka'ana Exterior2a

The Mayans predicted that the world would end in 2012. So perhaps that’s why the Ka’ana Boutique Resort (pictured above) in Belize feels comfortable offering this incredible deal where if you book a seven-day stay at Ka’ana Boutique Resort before December 18th, you get seven complimentary days in 2012 as well as airfare from Miami. A lot of deals arrive in my inbox but I really like this one because you know have two vacations to look forward to.

Of course, with any deal there are plenty of stipulations. First of all, only the first 15 people who book this deal will get that free vacation in 2012. Second of all, price begins at $1,995 per person and that does not include any airfare the first time around. But the good news is that it does include all meals, culinary classes and six half-day tours to Mayan ruins, caves (I’m a big fan of guided excursions!). Return airport transfers are also included, and the resort is located 70 miles from Belize City (which has the country’s main airport) in the Cayo District. Plus, they’re also throwing in a hand-carved personalized Mayan calendar.

If you’re considering a trip to Belize, check out this post about Catherine Motl’s wonderful experience of traveling all over the country and its little cayes for two weeks.

I just got back from Honduras and I heard exactly the opposite about 2012. 2012 is the end of a 5,000-year cycle for the Mayans, but it’s not the end of the world; it’s a time of new beginnings and rebirth. So I say book now … there’s going to be one heck of a party when December 21, 2012 rolls around!
