Sure, the Christmas Tree at NYC’s Rockefeller Center may be a tourist mecca, but I love it anyway. While that massive tree is one of the world’s most famous Christmas displays, most cities around the world deck the streets, parks and squares for Christmas. A round-the-world tour for the month of December to see all of the beautiful Christmas decorations across the globe would be fun, but very expensive and quite rushed — not to mention that this is the busiest time of year to travel. A YouTube tour is much easier! Below are videos of some of the best Christmas decorations in the world, including Brussels, Prague, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo.

The lights in Tokyo’s Hinokicho Park aren’t your standard Christmas fare, but they’re beautiful none the less.
The colorful Christmas-themed light projections onto Sydney’s Town Hall are really cool.
