At first, I wasn't that jealous that my friends Libby and Pete went to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Whistler. No, I was happy for them (really!) and thrilled that Pete was willing to share his awesome photographs of the Olympic events they attended. Then I found out that they got to see Lindsey Vonn ski in person (pictured above) at the Women's Downhill Skiing event. That's when I became jealous. Lindsey rules!
In the slideshow below are more of Pete's photos of the Women's Downhill Skiing event. I love how he managed to capture both Whistler's majestic scenery and the crowds of spectators right on the slopes. This slideshow also contains his photos of the Skeleton event, which is like the luge except that it's much safer because the sledders have more control because they go down face first.
