The 15th Edition of the Anywhere, Everywhere Travel Blog Carnival

Welcome to the 15th edition of the Anywhere, Everywhere Travel Blog Carnival. The carnival takes place once a month and features some of the best travel writing and photography on the web. As usual, I received tons of great submissions; here are my favorites.

JoAnna presents Why People Don’t Travel, Part 2: Lack of Money posted at Kaleidoscopic Wandering. Here’s an exhaustive list of ways that travel can be affordable!

Jase presents Lost in Stockholm posted at on the way to somewhere. As a big fan of snow, I enjoyed this story about a very snowy adventure in Stockholm.

Brian presents El Morro Fort Old San Juan posted at Visit The Coqui. When I went to Puerto Rico in college, this fort was one of my favorites things about the island.

Jack Norell presents Giant’s Causeway, Northern Ireland posted at Eyeflare Travel Articles and Tips. The Giant’s Causeway is probably the most visited, and photographed, attraction in Northern Ireland; it’s an astounding natural feature.

Margaret Snook presents Chile by Air (and coolest job in the world) posted at Cachando Chile: Reflections on Chilean Culture. Cool photos of mountains from the plane!

Byteful Travel presents Why the Art Institute of Chicago kept the Seurat posted at Byteful Travel. I really enjoyed this museum the last time I was in Chicago, and I highly recommend it to all visitors of the city.

Audrey Scott presents How to Travel the World Together Without Killing Each Other posted at Uncornered Market. Audrey wrote this post in honor of Valentine’s Day; there are some very useful tips here for couples who like to travel together but wish that they loved to travel together.

Brooke presents My Brother’s Chilean Adventure posted at Rambling Brooke. Instead of nagging her brother to write a guest post, Brooke wrote it for him based on his Facebook postings — brilliant!

Lisa Bergren presents Early Summer in Nevis, West Indies: The World is Calling posted at The World is Calling. Since I’ve recently visited Grand Cayman and Grenada, I was very interested to read about this Caribbean island.

Mary Jo Manzanares presents Making Money: Bureau of Engraving & Printing posted at Traveling with MJ. If you’re looking for a unique tour in Washington, DC, this could be great activity.

CBCreations presents A Windy Day in Cape Town posted at Measure of All Things. This story is a good reminder that even when the weather is not what you hope, you can still have fun.

Regina Scharf presents 10 unforgettable Brazilian dishes you never heard of posted at DEEP BRAZIL. If you’re heading to Brazil, make sure to sample a few of these foods. presents Celebrities in the Caribbean posted at Caribbean Edge. This is a useful list for starseekers.

Arun presents Ladakh – Monasteries – Alchi Monastery posted at India Travel Blog. Great info about a hard-to-reach attraction in India.

Kara Williams presents Hiking with Kids in Joshua Tree National Park posted at The Vacation Gals. Here are some great tips if you’re planning to take the family (or just yourself!) to this famous California park.

Thanks so much to everyone who participated! Would you like to see your travel-related blog post in the next edition of’s Anywhere, Everywhere Travel Carnival? If so, please submit your post here by March 14th. The next edition will be posted on Monday, March 15th.
