Recently I did a post about the top 10 trips I wish had taken this year, but I really can't imagine 2009 having been a better travel year for me. Choosing my top 10 travel moments from this year wasn't easy — I feel like every trip I took deserved its own top 10! But I finally narrowed it down… Here they are, my top 10 travel moments for 2009 in order from most to least recent:
1. Skiing fresh powder at Park City Mountain Resort in Utah
2. Chilling with the Sting Rays in The Cayman Islands
3. Hiking to Seven Sisters Waterfall in Grenada
4. Exploring Beaumaris Castle in Wales
5. Ostia Antica, the ruins of Rome's ancient port
6. The incredible landscape of Cappadocia, Turkey
7. Anything to do with Istanbul
8. Finally getting to San Francisco
9. The White-Faced Capuchin Monkeys at Manuel Antonio Park in Costa Rica
10. The surprise Jimmy Buffett concert at Key West
