The 9th Edition of the Anywhere, Everywhere Travel Blog Carnival

Welcome to the ninth edition of the Anywhere, Everywhere Travel Blog Carnival. The carnival takes place every other Monday and features some of the best travel writing and photography on the web. As usual, I received lots of great submissions; here are my favorites.

Marina K. Villatoro presents The Travel Expert(a): Corcovado National Park – The Most Biologically Intense Place on Earth posted at The Travel Expert(a). When I went to Costa Rica, I didn’t make it to the Osa peninsula. But I wish I had!

Shelly Rivoli presents A Walk on the Beach at Salishan posted at Travels with Baby Tips. Read how this mom of three found solitude on a beach in Oregon.

Caitlin Fitzsimmons presents I left my Hartz in Tasmania posted at Roaming Tales. Hartz Mountains National Park sounds like a magical place.

Lena presents 3 Facts: Amsterdam posted at The Colors Magazine. Even if you’ve been to Amsterdam, these will surprise you.

Collin presents Visit To Holland, Michigan posted at Travel Ideas and Tips. If you can’t make it to Amsterdam, there’s always Michigan.

Wise_Bread presents Disneyland on the Sort of Cheap posted at Here are great tips to enjoy Disney without breaking the bank.

CBCreations presents Diving with Manta’s – Donsol, Philippines Part II posted at Measure of All Things. This is a nice write-up about a wonderful dive spot.

Corinne McDermott presents Cuba: Fast Facts For Families posted at Have Baby Will Travel. This piece is not only informative, it serves as a reminder that Cuba is a regular beach vacation destination for Europeans and Canadians.

Daniel presents Travelling Safely: Antidotes to Fear posted at Two Go Round-The-World. This is a good piece to read to remind yourself that a few simple safety measures go a long way.

Charles H. Green presents Why Did the Bear Cross the Road? What August Teaches Us About Interdependencies posted at Trust Matters. This is an interesting piece that shows how traveling can open your eyes to different perspectives.

Katie presents 12 Tacky but Terrific Things to do in London posted at Travel Blog – Tripbase. This is a good must-see list if you’ve never been to the city.

jim presents Wandering in Cochem posted at Wanderlust Journey. This town in Germany sounds like a great day trip.

Voyagner presents Off The Tourist Trail in Cambodia posted at Voyagner. You won’t be surrounded by camera flashes here!

Thanks so much to everyone who participated! Would you like to see your travel-related blog post in the next edition of’s Anywhere, Everywhere Travel Carnival? If so, submit your post here by September 13th. The next edition will be posted on Monday, September 14th.
