Fancy Cars in a Fancy Town: The Greenwich Concours d’Elegance

It’s quite hard not to be impressed by the cars at the Greenwich Concours d’Elegance, an annual auto show at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park in Greenwich, CT. This two-day event took place this weekend with gorgeous weather for the gorgeous automobiles. On Saturday, American vehicles were showcased, while Sunday focused on the international models. Although the show’s emphasis was on glamorous classic cars, there were some newer models too like Porsche race cars and flashy Lamborghinis. There was even a flying car, the Terrafugia Transition.

Still, it was the luxurious older cars that stole the show. There were plenty of Morgans, including one that came with matching luggage! Rare car enthusiasts were excited about the Farcel Vega. And pretty much everyone was enjoying the Rolls Royces, Bentleys, Ferraris and Jaguars. And that’s just in the parking lot…
