Aside from being a master of plot and suspense, author Dan Brown also excels at giving his readers wanderlust. It's difficult to read (or watch) The Da Vinci Code and not feel the urge to run off to Paris, London and Scotland to save vital historical treasures — even if you're not a distinguished Harvard symbologist like Richard Lagdon aka Tom Hanks. Well, today Brown's Angels & Demons hits the big screen, and it's going to make you want to get on the next plane to Rome.

In this film, Langdon races through key landmarks in Rome and the Vatican to locate a time bomb that has been planted by the ancient secret brotherhood of the Illuminati, an enemy of the Catholic Church. If you want to learn more about the famous — and lesser known — sights you'll see in the movie or read about in the novel, then you should download Rome’s Angels & Demons: The Insider’s Guide, a FREE ebook written by Italy expert Angela Nickerson.  If you're lucky enough to be going to Rome in the near future, you could plan most of your itinerary just by using this ebook (which can also be read on a Kindle). But even if you're not on your way to the City of Fountains any time soon, it's still a great read as a companion to the movie and/or novel.
