Thinking Sunny Thoughts of Santorini

PinExt Thinking Sunny Thoughts of Santorini

Today would not be a particularly good day to visit Santorini. It’s rainy, windy and in the low 50s there — typical January weather for Greece’s Cyclades islands. And because it’s the off-season, most of the tavernas and hotels are closed, and the whole island is very quiet until at least Easter.

But today is an excellent day to look at these pictures I took of a sunny, vibrant Santorini last June. And that’s because pretty much every day is a good day to be transported to arguably the most beautiful island in Greece through the magic of a blog slideshow.
